National EMS Week is an annual week-long celebration to recognize and thank emergency medical services personnel, including EMTs, paramedics, and dispatchers, for their vital role in saving lives and providing care in communities. Gerald Ford first authorized EMS Week in 1974. In 2025, it takes place from May 18-24. The theme for 2025 is "We Care. For Everyone".
