Seasonal Depression Awareness Month

January 26 All day

Seasonal Depression Awareness Month is observed in December to increase awareness about Seasonal Affective Disorder (SAD) and other forms of mood changes linked to seasonal patterns and reduced daylight exposure. The month promotes education on symptoms, treatment options, and supportive strategies such as light therapy, counseling, and lifestyle adjustments. Awareness efforts also emphasize reducing stigma around depression and encouraging mental health care access.
