National Family Day in the United States is celebrated annually on the fourth Monday of September, falling on September 28, 2026. Originally declared in 2001 by the National Center on Addiction, the holiday was established to promote family dinners as a meaningful way to curb youth substance abuse and build stronger, healthier relationships within the home.
