World AIDS Awareness Month

December 1 All day

World AIDS Awareness Month is observed in December to increase awareness of HIV/AIDS, support people living with HIV, and promote prevention and treatment education. The month highlights the global public health impact of HIV and the importance of testing, stigma reduction, and access to medication. Advocacy efforts often center on communities disproportionately affected by HIV and emphasize that treatment can enable long, healthy lives and reduce transmission.
