HIV Cure Research Day

December 14, 2025 All day

HIV Cure Research Day is an annual observance on December 14th that promotes awareness, celebrates progress, and unites researchers, advocates, and communities in the global search for an HIV cure, honoring milestones like the first cured individuals (Berlin, London Patients) and fostering collaboration to end the epidemic. It highlights the need for equitable involvement, educates the public, and inspires action, including advocacy for funding, community engagement, and storytelling to overcome stigma and drive innovation.

WellBeings.org is a health and wellness resource, not a crisis or suicide response website. If you are in crisis, or experiencing thoughts of suicide, please call or text the 988 Suicide & Crisis Lifeline at 988 or the LGBT National Hotline at (888) 843-4564. The service is free and available 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
