The 2026 Mental Health Month Kickoff
April 2 @ 1:00 pm – 2:00 pm
Get ready to celebrate Mental Health Month with us! Since founding Mental Health Month (also known as Mental Health Awareness Month) in 1949, Mental Health America (MHA) has led the nationwide effort every May to promote mental wellness. This year, we are on a mission to help people have more good days, together.
This virtual event is designed to help you prepare for participating in Mental Health Month. We’ll highlight strategies for championing mental health in your community, share new tools, and provide ideas on meaningful ways to get involved.
Whether you’re an educator, advocate, fundraiser, or just hoping to improve your own mental health, this event will give you a roadmap to feel ready!
In this free, 60-minute session, we will:
Encourage ways to get involved: Learn about ways you can support Mental Health America’s mission, whether it’s through participating in our Be Seen in Green Fundraiser, joining our Strava challenge, or hosting your own event supported by our materials.
Share the More Good Days, Together campaign: Get an exclusive first look at our new theme & opportunities to engage throughout the month of May.
Explore new resources: Discover the latest tools from MHA’s Public Education team, including our brand-new planning and action guides.
