Ovarian cancer awareness month is observed in September

Purpose:

  • Raise awareness about ovarian cancer, the second most common gynecologic cancer in the United States. 
  • Educate women about the symptoms, risk factors, and early detection methods. 
  • Support research and provide funding for treatments and cures. 

Activities: 

Get screened for ovarian cancer, especially if you have risk factors. 

Wear teal ribbons, the color associated with ovarian cancer awareness.

Attend events and fundraisers.

Share information about ovarian cancer on social media.
