National Rural Health Day

National Rural Health Day is celebrated annually on the third Thursday in November. In 2025, it will be observed on November 20. This day recognizes the unique healthcare needs of rural communities and the dedication of those who work to address them. 

National Rural Health Day is an initiative of the National Organization of State Offices of Rural Health (NOSORH). It aims to raise awareness about the challenges and disparities in rural healthcare and to celebrate the “Power of Rural”.
