International Animal Rights Day

December 10 All day

International Animal Rights Day is observed annually on December 10th, the same day as Human Rights Day, to highlight that all sentient beings deserve respect, freedom from suffering, and inherent rights, not just utility to humans. Established in 1998 by the animal rights group Uncaged, this day calls for global action against animal cruelty and exploitation, advocating for stronger protections and ethical treatment through events, education, and promoting the Universal Declaration of Animal Rights

WellBeings.org is a health and wellness resource, not a crisis or suicide response website.
