Caregiving: A Community Conversation Hosted By Nashville Public Radio

August 20 @ 7:00 pm 8:30 pm

Join Nashville Public Radio Editor and Afternoon Host LaTonya Turner for a robust, interactive conversation for and by caregivers in Tennessee. This community event will provide information and resources from experts in the field of caregiving as well as people with lived experiences taking care of aging parents, children with disabilities, spouses, and other loved ones with serious illnesses or nearing end of life. The program includes a brief screening from the PBS/Bradley Cooper documentary, CAREGIVING. This will be a timely and vital discussion at a time when recent federal budget cuts will greatly reduce support and services for caregivers. Dinner will be provided. This event is free and open to the public, and free parking is available. Space is limited. RSVP by August 13.
