As schools across the country started to shut down in March 2020 due to the Coronavirus pandemic, PBS NewsHour Student Reporting Labs asked students to cover its impact on them and their communities. This special assignment, “Making Sense of the Coronavirus Through Storytelling and Media Making,” empowers students to take positive action by producing vital stories from their communities.
