Free Mental Health Resources That Empowers Parents & Guardians

The APA Foundation promotes mental health literacy, connects underserved communities to services and supports, and influences behaviors and attitudes toward mental wellness. Through our programs, awards, and grant opportunities, we are working towards a mentally healthy nation for all where you live, learn, work, worship, and play.

Young people are in a critical period for social and emotional development. As parents or guardians, you are well positioned to recognize abrupt changes in behaviors, social interactions, and emotions. You can also be alert to other supports your children might need. Working together with children offers the chance to promote the importance of taking care of their mental health as well as your own. Want to identify and support youth who have mental health concerns? Here are some great resources from Notice. Talk. Act.®
