Caregiving – a new documentary and national engagement campaign on the state and stakes of providing care in America.
Greg and CoRy are a father and son who have always been close, sharing artistic passions, goals and a love of each other. When CoRy was suddenly unable to live on his own due to multiple chronic illnesses, it was natural for him to move in with father, Greg. Greg is devoted to caring for his son, but as time passes and Greg ages, CoRy realizes that he will have to become a caregiver for his father as well. A tender portrait of a loving father-son relationship.
There are an estimated 53 million to 105.6 million U.S. adults providing unpaid caregiving for family or friends. Every one of them has a story that’s filled with sacrifice, love, and the pursuit of dignity in care. Learn more about Caregiving, airing on PBS & Well Beings.org in 2025.
