Let’s Talk About Sex (Ed)!

A Resource for Educators and Other Providers

Presented by

It Gets Better is a nonprofit organization with a mission to uplift, empower, and connect lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and queer youth around the globe. Learn more about our work. t Gets Better envisions a world where all LGBTQ+ youth are free to live equally, connect to their communities, and know their power as individuals.

Join us in watching Queer Sex Ed, an original It Gets Better Project video series. You know all that important stuff they’re probably not teaching you in school? We’ve got you covered with five episodes of IRL friends having those conversations about queer sex, sex in the media, consent and pleasure, and more – while professional sex educators Dr. Lexx and Melina Gaze listen in to educate and bust some myths.

You can download the official EduGuide for Queer Sex Ed. This guide will walk you through each episode in the series, asking you to think critically about the conversations you watch. It’s intended for young adults (YA) ages 14+, or those already in late middle or high school, but it can be adapted for younger and older audiences as needed.
