Give Yourself A Hug
Isn’t great when a friend gives you that hug you didn’t even know you needed? Do that for yourself. Take a second to ask yourself, “What do I need?”. Maybe just asking the question is enough. A moment and a few breaths to let yourself know that you are taking care of yourself. That you are listening and maybe even doing a few of these simple hug-like things.

It’s harder than it looks when we are busy to stop and just ask ourself, “What do I need?”. And probably it feels silly. I mean how much can these little things help? Quite a lot really. These little things add up and make big differences. And here’s another great thing about taking care of ourself…it teaches us how to take care of each other. So, maybe you can be that person who gives a hug to a friend that didn’t even know they needed a hug.
