Gaia’s “Masking” Has Nothing to Do with COVID-19
Long before the pandemic, Gaia was “masking” – hiding her autistic behaviors in social settings by mimicking what others do in those settings. She wants to “teach people that autism doesn’t look the same in everyone” and why it’s important to have an open mind about differences.
