The public is welcome. \n\n\n\nJoin us for a screening of the Award Winning Film Bring Them Home/Aiskótáhkapiyaaya narrated by Lily Gladstone. Public is welcome. \n\n\n\nBring Them Home/Aiskótáhkapiyaaya follows a decades-long effort by the Blackfoot Confederacy to return wild buffalo\, or “iinnii\,” to the Blackfeet Reservation. Restoring the herd would reconnect the Blackfeet people with their heritage\, spirituality\, and identity while creating economic opportunity and healing. The effort faces resistance from ranchers who view buffalo as a threat to cattle operations rooted in a legacy of colonization. \n\n\n\nDinner will be served. \n\n\n\nSponsored by Utah Division of Indian Affairs\, Ute Mountain Ute\, Confederated Tribes of the Goshute Reservation Childcare Development Program\, and Thunderheart Films.
